Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan Teaser OUT: Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor explore a 'blind' love story that transcends sight

Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan is one of the most-awaited films of 2025. It stars Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor in the lead roles. Notably, this film marks the Bollywood debut of Shanaya. The romantic drama will hit theaters on July 11, and the first poster has already garnered attention. Now, the makers have dropped the teaser of the film today, June 5.

On June 5, ZEE Studios released the teaser of Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan on their social media accounts. The 58-second teaser opens with Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor holding each other while their eyes are covered with clothes. They fall in love with each other and navigate the joy and complexities of modern love. It is a romance between two visually impaired characters. In the teaser, both Vikrant and Shanaya look promising and dedicated to their characters, and it will be interesting to see the on-screen chemistry of the new pair. 

Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan is inspired by Ruskin Bond’s short story The Eyes Have It and is described as a musical drama. Shanaya will play the role of a theatre artist, while Vikrant Massey will play the role of a blind musician. The film will explore deep human emotions like compassion, resilience, desire, freedom, and confidence.

Reacting to the teaser, one fan said, "If Vikrant is there I can guarantee the movie would be different." Praising Vikrant and Shanaya, another commented, "Both have on screen charm excited to see them."

Apart from Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, Vikrant Massey also has Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's biopic titled White. He is going to his ashram to prepare for the movie directed by War filmmaker Siddharth Anand. As per reports, Vikrant is also in talks for Karan Johar's Dostana 2.

On the other hand, Shanaya is also working on Bejoy Nambiar's Tu Ya Main opposite Adarsh Gourav. The first announcement video garnered a lot of attention. The film is scheduled to be released on Valentine's Day 2026.
