A new romantic film, Aap Jaisa Koi starring R. Madhavan and Fatima Sana Shaikh, is coming on Netflix to capture your hearts. After the teaser and a few posters, the makers have now dropped the much-awaited trailer, and it looks promising as the plot is relevant to today's younger generation, who are looking for love.

The trailer of Aap Jaisa Koi begins with R. Madhavan's character, Srirenu Tripathi, who is looking for a bride through a dating app. He meets Fatima Sana Shaikh's character Madhu Bose, a French professor. On the other hand, Srirenu is a Sanskrit teacher. Their profession can be the same, but the languages are completely different. While Srirenu is 42, Madhu is 32.
When their wedding was almost fixed, Srirenu's family members claimed that a French professor can be wild in nature, and they cannot allow any working woman. Amid the chaos, Srirenu shouted, "The wedding is cancelled." When he returned the wedding ring to Madhu, the latter said, "You are just like others."
It is a romantic drama that tells the story of two very different characters who set out on a journey filled with love and laughter. This film is the story of two people who meet through a dating app and fall in love with each other. The plot has emotional depth, humour, and unexpected twists, promising an unconventional love story.

Talking about his film, Aap Jaisa Koi, director Vivek Soni shared that the film is about breaking down the walls we've built around ourselves and embracing the awkwardness and vulnerability of love.

Meanwhile, Aap Jaisa Koi will be released on Netflix on July 11.
Apart from Aap Jaisa Koi, Fatima will also be seen in Anurag Basu's Metro...In Dino alongside Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Panjah Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Neena Gupta, and Anupam Kher. It will hit theaters on July 4.
