Aapka Apna Zakir will premiere soon on television and streaming. It's a new comedy show that will air at the same slot as Kapil Sharma's show The Kapil Sharma Show on TV channel. The makers of Aapka Apna Zakir have already dropped a few exciting promos, that have unveiled its celebrity guestlist. Before it premieres, here's all you need to know about it.

Stand-up comedian Zakir Khan has taken up hosting duties for his new comedy show. He was last seen in Chacha Vidhayak Hain Humare season 3.

The stand-up comedian will offer a 'family treat' to the masses every Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 pm on television and OTT.

The comedy show will stream every weekend on SonyLIV and OTTplay Premium. The episodes will primarily air on Sony TV.

Apart from Zakir Khan as host, Aapka Apna Zakir comes with celebrity panelists. Actress Shweta Tiwari and actors Rithvik Dhanjani, Paresh Ganatra, and Gopal Datt will be a part of the show. The celebrity guestlist of the show includes Stree 2 actors Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao and filmmaker/producer Karan Johar.
Zakir Khan on comparisons with Kapil Sharma
Meanwhile, in an interview with TV9, Zakir shed light on comparisons with ace comedian Kapil Sharma. The stand-up comedian said he is not fine with being compared to Kapil and stated that he can't compete with Sharma as he feels the TKSS host is a 'pioneer' of their art form. "When his shows became extremely successful, I benefited while sitting in Delhi as a small-time comedian. I benefited even later when I moved to Mumbai," he said.
