Aar Ya Paar first look: The contract-killing business just got sleekier

Of all things that make the crime drama-thriller genre so sadistically satisfying, the hunger to see grey characters with a deeply troubled anti-hero psyche tops the chart. Disney + Hotstar's Aar Ya Paar, which has just released the first-look clip of its noir drama, seems to have checked all the right boxes. And when a punchline goes as, "Apne pe aajaye, toh na insaan rukta hai na jaanwar," you know you are in for brawls and bloodshed in equal measure. 

The opening shot sees an all-purposeful man sashaying through a dark alley when a man rings him up to tell him about his latest 'target', with absolutely no hesitation the shadowy figure asks, "Kisko maarna hai?"

Aar Ya Paar, in essence, is a deep-dive into the dark forces that constitute in a human body and co-exist with elements of nature that are far more subtle and socially acceptable. This 40-second clip encapsulates the pulse of Aar Ya Paar aptly and as audience, we are intrigued. 

Aar Ya Pyaar features Aditya Rawal, Patralekhaa, Deibyendu Bhattacharya, Shilpa Shukla and Aasif Sheikh in major roles and will soon be streaming globally on Disney + Hotstars.
