Aaraattu trailer: A massy treat for Mohanlal fans from start to finish

As promised the makers of Mohanlal’s much-awaited film Aaraattu have finally unveiled its trailer. Featuring Mohanlal at his fiery best, the trailer promises a film that will be a non-stop thrill ride for every Lalettan fan.

The trailer shows the Mollywood heavyweight essaying the role of a character that seems to inspire admiration and awe from those around him. Everyone seems to have the same question on their minds when it comes to him, who, or what is he? And Lalettan himself gives us the answer, saying he’s no gangster or monster, as we are introduced to his character, Neyyattinkara Gopan. And he seems to be as charming as he is formidable, being welcomed with resounding cheers by a group of people. And to add to the star power, viewers also get to see a glimpse of AR Rahman on stage, as Gopan promises to bring the musician to a show in his own hometown.

Aaraattu will revolve around the story of a real estate agent (Mohanlal), whose latest land deal in Palakkad gets him involved in a dangerous game with ruthless criminals.

In addition to Mohanlal, the upcoming film also features Shraddha Das, Siddique, Nedumudi Venu, Renji Panicker, Saikumar, Prabhakar, Vijayaraghavan, Indrans, Malavika Menon, Swasika, and Rachana Narayanankutty. The film is directed by B Unnikrishnan from a script, written by Udaykrishna.

The film’s release had to be delayed numerous times due to difficulties brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. It is currently slated to be released on February 10, 2022, although there are speculations that the release date may be changed.
