Neha Saxena started signing more projects in the South cinema industry soon after beginning her career with a Tulu movie. She has been part of all the four South languages, the latest being the most anticipated Mohanlal-starrer Aarattu.
The actress had also made an appearance in the 2017 Saif Ali Khan-starrer Chef. While talking to ETimes in an exclusive chat, she opened up about her Bollywood experience. Neha recalled that she was asked to do a brief role in Chef while she was filming in Kerala. She was thrilled to bag a movie which has Saif Ali Khan headlining it and joined the set on her birthday. Though she has been a part of films in many languages, Neha considers Kerala to be her lucky charm.
Though the actress had only two small scenes in Chef, she cherishes the beautiful experience she had while working for it. She also shared about her mother’s liking for Hindi movies. Apparently, her mother loves rewatching Chef and Hindi-dubbed movies.
Talking further about her future Bollywood plans, she said that she is already in talks for a project. She revealed that there are a few discussions happening, and that she will finalise her projects shortly.
The actress is popular for movies like Kasaba, starring Mammootty in the lead. She has also appeared in the Mohanlal-starrer Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol in 2017. Aarattu will mark her second collaboration with the superstar. Helmed by B Unnikrishnan, Aarattu also stars Shraddha Srinath, Nedumudi Venu, Saikumar, Indrans and Swasika.
