Aarya Sareen is back to protect her family and make her enemies pay. The latest season of Aarya is all set to premiere soon.

What is Aarya about?

The thriller series tells the story of a young woman whose husband, unbeknownst to her, works for a drug mafia who brutally murders him. When the criminals target her and her children next, she has to take some life altering decisions to defend herself, and avenge the death of her husband.

The upcoming season will see Aarya continue her face off against the mafia, in the wake of learning a disturbing truth behind her husband’s death.

Who are the cast and crew of Aarya?

The series stars Sushmita Sen as the titular protagonist. The upcoming season features Chandrachur Singh, Sikandar Kher, Ankur Bhatia, Virti Vaghani, Sugandha Garg, Sugandha Garg and Vikas Kumar reprising their roles. Geetanjali Kulkarni will play a new character on the show’s second season.

The series was created by Ram Madhvani and Sandeep Modi.

The show had opened to critical acclaim, with praise being directed at Sen’s performance. Aarya has been nominated for numerous Filmfare OTT Awards including Best Drama and Best Actor for Sen, having won the latter. The show was also nominated for the International Emmy Award for Best Drama series.
