Aarya 3: Sushmita Sen is back and she means business in the upcoming season; watch the announcement video

Soon after Season 2 of Aarya did well, Sushmita Sen said that she would be back as the title character for Season 3. The shooting has been in progress, and now, Disney+ Hotstar has shared a video of the progress and shared that they will be announcing the release date soon. In the video, Sushmita slays like a boss while smoking a cigar.

As they shared the video, they captioned it, "She is back, and she means business. Hotstar Specials: Aarya 3, Now shooting. Coming soon only on Disney+ Hotstar."

Earlier, while talking about the third season, Sushmita had said in a statement that for Aarya Sareen, it is a brand-new day, and she is fierce. In Season 3, she gets past problems from her past and starts a new journey. Reprising Aarya's role is like putting on an old pair of pants for a fresh voyage. Being back with Ram Madhvani and the Disney+ Hotstar team is wonderful, and the actor can't wait to show Aarya some love and gratitude in return for their support.

Aarya, which is based on the Dutch television show Penoza, centres on a lady named Sen who discovers her drug-dealing husband, a pharma tycoon, after his murder. Aarya grudgingly assumes control of the family's criminal empire to protect her family before realising she has a talent for it. Penoza lasted for five seasons from 2010 to 2017, so Aarya has a ton of material to draw from as the series moves on.

In a prepared statement, Madhvani said that Disney+ Hotstar has been a great partner in making Aarya for two seasons, and they are happy to work with them again for a third season. The process of making a plot with thrills, family love, and suspense has begun, and they are sure that fans will want more. The stakes are going up even more from here.
