Aarya Season 3: THIS is what Sikandar Kher and Sushmita Sen are currently up to

After the success of his latest release Monica, O My Darling, actor Sikandar Kher is going back to his favourite show Aarya, as the cast and crew is gearing up for the third season of the web series that is headlined by Sushmita Sen.

The first two seasons of the show received positive responses from critics and audiences, as well as awards. While Sushmita plays the titular character, Sikandar has a pivotal role in the show. This was the comeback show for Sushmita as a lead actor.

Speaking about the third season of the show, an excited Sikandar said, "It’s wonderful to be back with this incredible team and I’m looking forward to starting to shoot soon." The actor added that they have started attending workshops as part of the preparations. 

He also mentioned that whatever he has read from the material of the new season during the workshops has left him excited about how his character, Daulat, is going to the next level altogether in the upcoming season. "I’m excited to take the audience on a thrilling new ride. This is one of the most impeccably written characters that I have played. I can’t wait to bring Daulat back on to the screen," Sikandar said.

Aarya is the Indian adaptation of the Dutch drama Penoza. The series is co-created by Ram Madhvani and Sandeep Modi. The show also stars Ankur Bhatia, Akash Khurana, Virti Vaghani, Vikas Kumar and Dilnaz Irani, among others. The web series was nominated for the prestigious International Emmy Award in the Best Drama Series category.

Sikandar, the son of the veteran actress and politician Kirron Kher, has had quite a busy year. He started 2022 with the success of Aarya Season 2, followed by finishing shoot for the English film Monkey Man, Hindi film Dukaan and the release of Vasan Bala's Monica, O My Darling.
