Irandu Vaanam is directed by director Ram Kumar who will be marking his third collaboration with Vishnu Vishal. Irandu Vaanam: Vishnu Vishal talks about its uniqueness

Vishnu Vishal, whose recent film Aaryan is running in theatres, has a bunch of projects in the pipeline, and one of them is Irandu Vaanam. The first look poster was released by the makers a few months ago. Expectations are high on the film, given it marks the third outing of Vishnu Vishal with director Ram Kumar. The duo has given hit films like Ratsasan and Mundasupatti earlier.

Speaking about Irandu Vaanam, Vishnu Vishal said to OTTplay, “Irandu Vaanam is going to be very unique. There is a USP that I cannot reveal now. It is the first time when I am doing a film with a director who also is facing much expectations from audience as much as from me. We have been working on it for nearly two years, and it will be worth the wait.” The actor further added, “I heard the story for about seven hours and was so moved by it. I told Ram that I totally love it, and we started right away. We are looking to release it sometime in February 2026.”

Irandu Vaanam: Everything to know

Mamitha Baiju, seen in films like Premalu and more recently Dude, will be working for the first time with Vishnu Vishal in Irandu Vaanam. The technical crew consists of Dinesh K Babu as the cinematographer and San Lokesh handling the edits. A release date for Irandu Vaanam is yet to be announced.
