Aashiqana Season 3: Zayn Ibad Khan reveals all about his character

Zayn Ibad Khan, who plays the male protagonist in the love story series titled Aashiqana, which is coming up with its third season, reveals more about his character in the show.

Talking about how his character's graph is changing in the upcoming season, Zayn said, "For Yash's character, there are going to be a lot of changes because, you know, there's a character graph, and somehow here, this graph is heading towards completion. Yash is a conservative guy, and for the past two seasons, he has been in love with Chikki, who is a very progressive woman."

The actor recalls how his character in the second season of the show had a chance to explore more of his personality away from traditional beliefs, and in the new season, the process continues.

Zayn said, "He is trying to learn a lot of things in season three. In the new season, he will try to unlearn many of the wrong things he has learned since childhood about women. The audience can see how his character's trajectory will change significantly and grow emotionally. After all of these changes, how Yash and Chikki will come together is what Aashiqana is all about."

In the show, Chikki's character is played by Khushi Dubey. The story of the show revolves around the love and mysterious connection between Chikki Sharma and the A.C.P. Yashvardhan Chauhan, and a murder is involved in the situation.

It will be interesting to watch how, in the new season, some dots get connected and the lead pair finally reaches completion.

The series is directed by Gul Khan and produced by Gen K Studios; it also features Inderjeet Modi, Anurag Vyas, Raghav Tiwari, and Geeta Tyagi, among others.

Aashiqana Season 3 will release on Disney+ Hotstar on February 27.
