Aashram 3: Aaditi Pohankar on working with Bobby Deol and what Esha Gupta will bring to the series

Aashram 3 is gearing up for another new season of Baba Nirala’s chilling exploits. Aaditi Pohankar will reprise her role as Pammi in the series, who doubles down on her goal to bring Nirala down no matter what. The actress recently opened up about her experience on working with Bobby Deol, and what she thinks Esha Gupta will bring to the show.

Deol essays the role of Baba Nirala on the show. In conversation with news agency IANS, the actress spoke about the ‘terrific experience’ she had filming alongside Deol, who she said is still a ‘childlike person’ despite being a seasoned name in the industry. She recalled how she initially had a lot of skepticism while filming her scenes and how Deol had given her advice and been very supportive in general. The actor had told Pohankar to ‘work very hard’ and had given examples from his own initial days in his career. “He’s very childlike, and more like a friend,” she said.

The actress also opened up about Gupta joined the series as a new character named Sonia. Pohankar said that she believed Gupta’s entry will add a level of ‘spice’ that will affect Baba’s future exploits, which will paly on his mind. The actress said that Sonia would add a ‘fresh’ flavour to the show and also impact Pammi’s journey as well. Pohankar talked about how Baba would have Pammi on his mind even when he is with Sonia, which would certainly lead to a lot of questions from audiences. But Pohankar added that the real reason Pammi is on the Baba’s mind is because he is afraid the young woman would defeat him.
