Aashram Season 3 Part 2: Release format, cast, when to expect - Everything we know so far

The curiosity surrounding one of the most viral shows of all time in the country is massive. The show that marked Bobby Deol’s return to the mainstream is now coming back with a brand-new season. Yes, we are talking about Aashram, the series that stars Deol as a Godman and remains one of the most beloved streaming shows in India. While audiences eagerly awaited the fourth season, the makers confirmed that the upcoming installment is not actually the fourth season but rather the second part of the third season, titled Aashram Season 3 Part 2. This unexpected announcement has only fueled the excitement further. Below is everything you need to know about it.

Aashram Season 3 Part 2 Update

Recently, the makers unveiled their new strategy, revealing that the third season will have a second part. Following this, they released the teaser, leaving fans even more thrilled. The caption for the teaser read, "Japnaam shuru kar lo, Baba Nirala aa rahe hain jald hi! #EkBadnaamAashram Season 3 Part 2, co-presented by Vimal, coming soon on Amazon MX Player!" However, they did not disclose the official release date, though they assured fans that the wait will not be long as the show releases on Februray 27, 2025. 

An industry source recently told Filmibeat, “Amazon MX Player held a grand event to announce its upcoming slate of shows and films, aiming to create waves in the OTT space. The streaming platform is looking to disrupt the digital space with its innovations and strategies to provide wholesome entertainment, that too free of cost.”

The source further added, “Aashram Season 3 Part 2, Campus Beats 5, and other shows are expected to be launched in the next two to three months. If everything goes as planned, a major campaign will be launched to announce the release date of Aashram 3 Part 2 in the first quarter of 2025.”

Aashram Season 3 Part 2 Release Format

So far, Aashram has primarily followed a full-season release format, where entire seasons are dropped at once. The makers have maintained this approach for all three seasons released so far. It is expected that Aashram Season 3 Part 2 will follow the same pattern. However, with more streaming platforms shifting toward weekly episode releases, there is a possibility that this installment could adopt that format as well. Upon release, the show will be available for free on MX Player, with the official release date to be announced soon.

Aashram Season 3 Part 2 Cast

The series has been written by Prakash Jha, Madhvi Bhatt, Avinash Kumaar, and Sanjay Masoom. It features an ensemble cast, including Bobby Deol, Aaditi Pohankar, Darshan Kumar, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Vikram Kocchar, Tridha Choudhary, Sachin Shroff, Rajeev Siddhartha, and Anurita Jha. Additional cast members will also be featured, but their details have not yet been disclosed.
