Aavesham, the action-comedy movie which stars Fahadh Faasil in the lead role, has finally hit the theatres. The film, which is helmed by Romancham fame Jithu Madhavan, has been receiving excellent reviews from both the audiences and critics. As expected, the Fahadh Faasil starrer has also had a massive opening at the box office. Meanwhile, it is confirmed that the post-thetarical OTT rights of Aavesh am have been sold for a whopping price.

According to the latest updates the post-theatrical OTT streaming rights of Aavesham have been bagged by the leading platform Amazon Prime Video. Reportedly, the streaming giant bagged the OTT rights of Jithu Madhavan’s film, for a whopping price. Even though there are no updates on the Aavesham OTT release date, so far, it is safe to assume that the action-comedy will be available for streaming by the end of May 2024.

However, things might change, considering the ongoing trend of extending the theatrical window up to 42 days, in Malayalam cinema. The Fahadh Faasil starrer, which had its theatrical release only in Malayalam so far, is expected to hit the OTT screens in multiple languages. Just like most of the films that hit the digital screens post their theatrical run, Aavesham is also expected to have dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.

Aavesham gets additional shows in Kerala and Oveseas centers

Meanwhile, the Fahadh Faasil starrer, which emerged as the biggest box office opener among the Vishu releases, has been experiencing an extraordinary audience rush. The movie has reportedly got around 100 extra shows in Kerala from the night of its release day, thanks to the increasing rush. As per the reports, things are the same in the overseas center, especially in the Gulf countries.

If things proceed at the same rate, Aavesham might cross the Rs. 40 crore mark at the Malayalam cinema box office, by the end of its first weekend (4 days). The Fahadh Faasil starrer is experiencing a great response from the audiences in Hyderabad city. This hints that the movie is going to be a rage among Telugu cinema audiences in the upcoming week.
