Aayush Sharma has, in his five-year Bollywood journey, worked outside of Salman Khan Films. The actor was launched with Loveyatri in 2018 and then went on to work with Antim, starring opposite Salman himself. The film released in 2021 and was his second collaboration with his brother-in-law, Salman. During the recently launched Ruslaan trailer launch, Aayush spoke of whether he would work with SKF again. The same comes after speculations of Aayush having walked out of Salman’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan for Ruslaan.
Aayush calls his 5-year journey ‘painfully slow’
Talking about his first film outside SKF, Aayush said “For me, it was a great opportunity.” He added that when one usually works out of their family (comfort zone), there’s a lot of learning process involved. He said that it was while he was learning, Ruslaan was being shot. Aayush ended up calling the film a great opportunity.
The actor called his five-year-journey in Bollywood ‘painfully slow’ but fun. He believes that is the case because he works on every film very passionately. “Jitna bhi main spoiled tha, utna mujhe Radhamohan (producer) and Karan (director, Karan Lalit Butani) sir ne theekh kar diya,” Aayush shared. He recalled the time when he had to shoot in minus six degrees. “When they made me stand bare-chested in minus six degrees Celsius weather in Azerbaijan, the spoiled brat in me vanished,” the actor said.
Aayush open to working with SKF again
He called himself ‘hungry’ as an actor and asserted that he would want to do as many good films as possible, passionately, no matter the production house. Stating that his journey has just begun, Aayush says that getting out of the family production has risk but you also gain experience. “I hope to get more films outside, keep working outside and whenever SKF does ask me to do a film, it will be an honour to go back and work with them,” the actor added.
Aayush walks out of SKF movie?
There were speculations that Aayush was roped in for Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan after the duo worked in Antim: The Final Truth. Aayush had walked out of the film in hopes of doing something on his own. The very movie happened to be Ruslaan (name not decided back then). Now, Ruslaan, Aayush’s first film outside of SKF, is slated to release in theatres on April 26.
