Abar Bibaho Obhijaan, The Eken: Rudhwoswash Rajasthan and Sesh Pata to fight it out at the box office during Poila Boishakh

Like every year, Poila Boisakh will brim with new releases from the Bengali film industry. On April 14, three new Bengali films, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Gargee RoyChowdhury and Vikram Chatterjee’s Sesh Pata, Anirban Bhattacharya, Priyanka Sarkar, and Ankush’s Abar Bibaho Obhijaan, and Anirban Chakrabarti’s The Eken: Rudhwoswash Rajasthan are scheduled to be released. 

Directed by Atanu Ghosh, Sesh Pata: The Last Page will feature Prosenjit as an unrecognisable avatar. He looks elderly with grey hair. Soumik Halder, who is the DoP of the film has directed Abar Bibaho Obhijaan. Shesh Pata is produced by Friends’ Communication and presented by Firdusul Hasan and Prabal Halder. 

The sequel of Bibaho Obhijaan will feature the same faces that appeared in the first film – Anirban Bhattacharya, Rudranil Ghosh, Ankush Hajra, Priyanka Sarkar, Sohini Sarkar, and others. The film is produced by SVF. 

Eken Babu is another film from the same house. Directed by Joydeep Mukherjee, the film will feature Suhotra Mukhopadhyay and Somak Ghosh also. The first feature film of Eken Babu was released last year on Poila Boishakh. In December, the sixth season of the web series franchise was released.
