Abar Bibaho Obhijaan will be released in March

Birsa Dasgupta’s film Bibaho Obhijaan was released in 2019. The film features Rudranil Ghosh, Ankush, Anirban Bhattacharya, Sohini Sarkar, Priyanka Sarkar, and Nusrat Faria. That comedy film was a hit. The makers announced a sequel, Abar Bibaho Obhijaan, in 2022. The sequel will be directed by Soumik Halder. This time, Montu Pilot-actor Sourav Das also joined the team. 

Abar Bibaho Obhijaan’s shooting started in November 2022. The characters’ looks were released. SVF said that the film will be released in March. However, no fixed date is announced. 

Abar Bibaho Obhijaan will be the first film of Soumik Halder as the director. Soumik is one of the best DOPs in Tollywood. He previously worked in Karnasubarner Guptodhan, Dwitiyo Purush, Gumnami, Ballabhpurer Rupkotha, etc. However, he debuted as a director on an OTT platform already. 

Like its original film, Rudranil Ghosh wrote the screenplay of the sequel also. The shooting took place in Kolkata and Thailand. Jeet Gannguli will be the music director.
