Abhay 3: Kunal Kemmu gears up for the third instalment of ZEE5’s crime drama series

Kunal Kemmu is gearing up to return as the investigating officer, Abhay Pratap Singh, for ZEE5’s Abhay 3. The actor has commenced the shoot of the highly-anticipated season and announced it by sharing an image from the sets on Instagram.

Kunal shared an image of him holding a gun and captioned, “And it begins… Again!!

Abhay 3 (sic).”

The third part of the Ken Ghosh directorial series is set to premiere on ZEE5 in 2022.

Talking about his upcoming venture, the filmmaker said that Abhay 3 is for all the friends, fans and well-wishers, who were highly anticipating the film. He also mentioned in the recent statement that it’s an official announcement that the shoot for the series has already begun and will be released soon.

Speaking of the third instalment of the crime-drama series, Kunal mentioned in a statement that he is very grateful and thrilled to be a part of Abhay, which has become such a loved franchise and to be headlining this franchise is almost surreal. “As I begin shooting for Abhay 3, I hope to receive the same love and admiration from my fans who have made us reach till here. Stay tuned to catch us on ZEE5 soon,” he added in the statement.

Meanwhile Nimisha Pandey, Head, Hindi Originals, ZEE5 said in a statement that Abhay has been amongst the most successful franchises for the OTT giant so far because the audiences have been intrigued by the edgy storyline of both the seasons that made for a compelling and unstoppable watch.

Abhay 3 also features Asha Negi, Nidhi Singh, Rituraj Singh and Elnaaz Nourozi, who will be reprising their characters from the last instalment.
