Kunal Kemmu’s Abhay was one of the earliest Indian shows to capture the attention of the Indian audience. As the third season of the show gets closer to its release, the makers have now launched the Abhay Bravery Award.
ZEE5 has begun the award, which celebrates fearless heroes from our society and their efforts. As part of this, Kunal Kemmu handed out the awards to three people who have performed acts of bravery in the last year.
Coach Gaurav Khanna, who is the National Coach of the Indian Para-badminton team, Manoj Sarkar, who is the current World no.3 in singles and World no. 1 in double's category of para-badminton and Prachi Tiwari, the youngest snake rescuer in Uttar Pradesh are the three recipients of the awards.
“It was a moment of honour for me to meet these brave heroes and speak to them about their fearless efforts in their respective fields.”, Kunal Kemmu said.
Directed by Ken Ghosh, Abhay follows a police officer who has the mindset of a criminal. The third season of the show stars Asha Negi and Nidhi Singh in returning roles while Vijay Raaz, Rahul Dev, Vidya Malvade, Tanuj Virwani and Divya Agarwal appear in new roles.
Produced by Zee Studios, the third season of the show is set to start streaming on ZEE5 from April 8 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
