Abhilasham out on OTT: Where to stream Saiju Kurup's romantic drama online

Malayalam's latest film, Abhilasham, has made its digital debut on a popular OTT platform. The romantic drama, which stars Saiju Kurup and Tanvi Ram, is now available on Amazon Prime Video and Manorama Max.

Abhilasham streaming on Amazon Prime Video

The film, which released in March, began streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 12 am on May 23. It is also accessible on the popular OTT platforms - Manorama Max and Simply South. Abhilasham was praised as a beautiful romantic drama, however it failed to attract large audiences to theatres. It is hoped that the movie will get the recognition it deserves with its digital release. Abhilasham would be an ideal weekend watch because there are not any other major Malayalam films making their OTT debuts this week.

Saiju Kurup's other recent films such as Bharathanatyam and Anand Sreebala are also streaming on the same platform. Saiju's most recent major role was in Daveed, which had a theatrical release in February. ZEE5 is streaming this action drama, which stars Antony Varghese Pepe. Meanwhile, Arjun Ashokan's recent flick, Bromance, is accessible on Sony LIV in multiple languages. 

All about Saiju Kurup's Abhilasham

The film's protagonist is Abhilash Kumar, a native of Kottakkal who owns and operates an Attar store and courier service. His love interest is Sherin, a single mother and a close companion from his childhood who has eventually moved back to their hometown. Although Abhilash is very excited about seeing Sherin again, he is also annoyed by his constant hesitancy about telling her how he feels. Whether Abhilash will be able to express his love at last or if fate will cause a problem between them again is the main question of Abhilasham. In this film, Saiju portrays Abhilash.

Arjun Ashokan, Binu Pappu, Neeraja Rajendran, Navas Vallikkunnu, Uma KP, Ajisha Prabhakaran, Nimna Fathoomi and Sheethal Zackaria all have significant parts in this Shamzu Zayba-directorial. 2018: Everyone Is A Hero-fame Tanvi Ram plays the female lead of this heartfelt romantic drama.
