Just this morning, Abhishek Bachchan revealed that after undergoing a surgery to fix his fractured arm, he has returned to Chennai to resume shooting for his next project. Currently the versatile and very talented actor has two much awaited films in his kitty-- Diya Annapurna Ghosh’s crime thriller Bob Biswas, which is a spin off to Vidya Balan’s 2012 film Kahaani, and Ritesh Shah’s social comedy Dasvi co-starring Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur. Well, according to latest buzz, the actor might also share the screen with Meezaan Jafri in an upcoming romantic comedy.

A report shared by ETimes has revealed that Abhishek and Meezaan may come together for the remake of Tamil film Oh My Kadavule, which is a romantic comedy. The remake will be helmed by filmmaker Ashwath Marimuthu, who wrote and directed the original. The project is currently underway and Arjun Reddy star Shalini Pandey is the top choice in makers’ minds for the female lead. If things go according to plan, the team will kick-start shoot by September end.

Jaaved Jaaferi’s son Meezaan made his debut in the entertainment world with Malaal in 2019. Recently he shared the screen with Shilpa Shetty and Paresh Rawal in his second film Hungama 2, which marked Priyadarshan's comeback to Bollywood after an eight-year hiatus. According to latest reports, Meezaan is also in talks with the filmmaker for a thriller film.
