The ninth edition of the Indian Super League is in full swing in Chennai. And it was only recently that a picture of former actress Shalini along with her son Aadvik at the Nehru Stadium had gone viral on social media. Aadvik is a fan of Chennaiyin FC and Ajith Jr was spotted donning the T-shirt of the team. The duo was at the stadium to watch a match played by Chennaiyin FC.
And now, a video of Abhishek Bachchan walking up to Shalini and Aadvik at the stadium is doing the rounds on the internet. In the video, Abhishek is seen exchanging pleasantries with Shalini as Aadvik looks on. Later, he is seen patting Aadvik on his head. It is to be noted that Junior Bachchan is one of the co-owners of Chennaiyin FC, along with Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Vita Dani. Ajith, too, has an avid interest in football and fans of the actor have stated that Kutty Thala (Aadvik) has taken after his father. Ajith was earlier referred to as Ultimate Star and Thala by his fans, but the actor urged his fans to simply call him Ajith.
Ajith, in the meantime, is touring Europe and pictures of the actor are surfacing on the internet from time to time. Ajith's latest release Thunivu directed by H Vinoth and bankrolled by Boney Kapoor, recently dropped on Netflix and the film has become one of the most streamed films on the platform. In the meantime, the film has been receiving footfalls in theatres as well despite having completed more than a month since release. The film had an ensemble cast including Manju Warrier, Samuthirakani, John Kokken, Veera, Bala Saravanan, Bagavathi Perumal, GM Sundar, P Vishwanath to name a few.
After his tour, Ajith will begin work on his next, which is tentatively referred to as AK62. The film is likely to be directed by Magizh Thirumeni after Vignesh Shivan's ouster from the project. The team is yet to make an official announcement about the director. However, the digital rights of the film have been bagged for a whopping amount by Netflix.
