Abhishek Bachchan is all set to portray the role of a father to a dance-crazed girl (Inaayat Verma) in the upcoming film, Be Happy. The film will have its Hindi premiere exclusively on Prime Video on March 14, and it will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages as well. Ahead of the release, Abhishek opened up about the parallels between the film and his real-life daughter, Aaradhya.

Abhishek Bachchan talks about Be Happy

Be Happy is the story of a father who reluctantly learns to dance to help his daughter fulfill her dreams. Speaking to Times Of India, Abhishek Bachchan said that his real-life daughter, Aaradhya, has thankfully never put him in that spot.

"There has never been a time when I have had to do something out of my comfort zone. There's been nothing where I have felt 'this is something I am not comfortable with, but I have to do it for my kid'. So far, I haven't been put in that situation, thankfully," he said.

Abhishek said that he only followed the script to accurately portray the character and his equation with his daughter. "The emotions are universal, but you have to understand the world and mindset of the character. And a well-written script helps there."
