Housefull 5, the comedy movie, directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Firuzi Khan, was released in cinemas on June 6. Although the film was one of the most anticipated, it received mixed responses on social media and was widely criticized. Days after the release, Abhishek Bachchan reacted to the criticism.

Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Abhishek Bachchan reacted to Housefull 5 criticism. He said that he was unaware of the film getting criticism and added, "Sometimes ignorance is bliss. Oh, really, I did not know that. Fair enough. I think, in today's age, everybody has the right to criticize, so fair enough."
About Housefull 5
Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the cast of Housefull 5 features Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Chunky Pandey, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chitrangada Singh, Fardeen Khan, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Ranjeet, Soundarya Sharma, Nikitin Dheer, and Akashdeep Sabir.
The film has two versions: Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B. Both versions have the same story except for the climax. The movie revolves around three men who all claim to be the same person, Jolly, who is the heir to the fortune of a wealthy tycoon. The story takes place on a cruise ship where a tycoon dies and his will triggers a chaotic inheritance war.

Housefull 5 will be available for streaming on Prime Video once the movie finishes its theatrical run. It is the fifth instalment of Tarun Mansukhani–directed, Warda Nadiadwala–produced, and Firuzi Khan–starring comic thriller. However, the OTT release date has not been released yet.
Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan is gearing up for the release of Kaalidhar Laapata on ZEE5. The film tells the story of Kaalidhar, an old man who runs away after learning of his family's plan to abandon him. It will be released on July 4 and will also be available on OTTplay Premium!
