Abhishek Banerjee believes his character Jana from Stree is the closest to his childhood. He is the naive and loyal friend to Rajkummar Rao's Vicky, which Abhishek was when he was younger. While Jana from Stree is the closest to his childhood, Abhishek Banerjee believes his Stolen character Gautam is who he is now. "The closest I have been to myself is Gautam. I don’t think I tried to be some other person. I tried to be me. So, whatever you see—good or bad—is definitely a part of me," he said.
Stolen is Abhishek Banerjee's latest offering and is backed by some of the best filmmakers to exist today. Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Kiran Rao and Nikkhil Advani are only a few of the names associated with the movie which has been lauded at Film Festivals and is now receiving praises from critics and viewers alike. The film is available for streaming on Prime Video and is the story of two brothers. Abhishek plays the bad brother to his sweet brother.
