Abhyanthara Kuttavali teaser: Asif Ali finds himself in the dock after marriage in this Malayalam entertainer

Asif Ali has had a terrific start to 2025 with his film Rekhachithram declared as the first Malayalam hit of the year. The actor would now be looking to continue his success rate as he gears up for his next film Abhyanthara Kuttavali, which is slated to release on April 3, 2025. Now, the makers have unveiled the teaser of Abhyanthara Kuttavali, giving a short glimpse into the upcoming Malayalam film, directed by Sethunath Padmakumar.

The teaser of Abhyanthara Kuttavali begins with a voice over by Jagadish, who appears as a lawyer in the film. While presenting his case before the judge, Jagadish's character says that the family of his plaintiff was looking for a well-behaved youth who will take good care of their daughter after marriage. The teaser then introduces us to Asif Ali, who plays Sahadevan, the groom. Scenes of a wedding play out even as Jagadish continues to list the problems faced by the bride. 

But the lawyer say that a huge dowry was sought and the young bride was harassed for more money. When she refused to comply, she was physically assaulted and not even given food for days. The teaser ends with Asif Ali literally in the dock at the courtroom. Notably, the title of the film features a pair of handcuffs. 

The 55-second teaser has set the tone for Abhyanthara Kuttavali, hinting that a film which blends family emotions and legal hurdles is on the cards. The upcoming Malayalam film is touted to be a realistic comedy family entertainer.

Asif Ali headlines Abhyanthara Kuttavali, which features newcomer Thulasi as the female lead. Jagadeesh, Harisree Ashokan, and Azeez Nedumangad, also play key supporting roles along with Prem Kumar, Sidharth Bharathan, Balachandran Chullikkad, Anand Manmadhan, and Neeraja Rajendran. 

The film, produced by Naisam Salam, went on floors in August 2024. Ajay David Kachappilly is the DOP, while Sobin Soman is the editor. The film has music by Bijibal and Christy Joby with background score by Rahul Raj.
