Abir Chatterjee and Mimi Chakraborty pair up for Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy’s next

Abir Chatterjee and Mimi Chakraborty were seen on a number of occasions on the screen, including in Raj Chakraborty’s Bojhena She Bojhena, Katmundu, and others. However, they were never seen opposite each other as a couple. Now, they are paired opposite each other in Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy yet untitled film which will be released in Puja. The look set of the film is done and Abir is seen with a moustache. The film will soon go on the floors. 

Shiboprosad and Nandita’s films are generally released during summer or winter vacations. This time, they have chosen the festival time to release their film. As of now, neither the name nor the plot of the film was revealed. In a social media video, Abir and Mimi announced the news. They assured their fans that something grand is on its way. 

Meanwhile, Abir’s film Fatrafati with Ritabhari Chakraborty from Shiboprosad and Nandita’s production house is awaiting release. It was scheduled to release on March 8, however, it got postponed. Fatafati delved into the life of a fashion enthusiast character, played by Ritabhari. The film addresses the issue of body positivity. To portray her character, Ritabhari gained weight. The actress has always been vocal about body positivity. 

On the other hand, Mimi has worked with Shiboprosad and Nandita in their Posto with Soumitro Chatterjee and Jisshu U Sengupta. The film is being made in Hindi and Mimi is part of the film along with Paresh Rawal. The shooting is over and it is also awaiting release.
