Khudaya Ishq From Abir Gulaal Out

Starring Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor in the lead, Abir Gulaal, as per the official synopsis of the movie, is a heartwarming tale that unfolds in the picturesque streets of London, weaving a love story filled with unexpected turns, tender moments, and pure magic. The new song from the film is titled Khudaya Ishq and features both Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor. Ridhi Dogra On Abir Gulaal Controversy

While speaking with Hindustan Times, Ridhi Dogra spoke about the buzz around Fawad Khan's comeback to Hindi films and how some are against it. She said, “The film’s tagline says, ‘Bringing love back’. The endeavour is to focus on love and the beautiful things in the world because there is already a lot of hatred." Further addressing the controversy over Fawad starring in Abir Gulaal, she said, “The internet has become a portal for disagreement. Everyone thinks that having an opinion means to disagree. I would like to focus on the love this film has — I hope the film is able to do what its tagline says."

It was in 2016 when an unofficial ban was imposed on Pakistani artists working in India and Indian films. The political disputes between the two countries led to political parties in India demanding the ban. There was no legal order as such to support the same. However, in 2023, when a petition seeking to officially ban Pakistani artists from working in India was filed at the Bombay High Court, the court rejected it and dismissed the plea.
