Ace star Vijay Sethupathi impressed by Nani’s Court-State vs. A Nobody: Here’s what he said

Vijay Sethupathi is one of the most popular actors in India and does some amazing work. He is out with his new film Ace, which hit the screens on May 23, 2025. Ahead of the film's release, the Petta star was in Hyderabad to promote his film. Speaking in an interview, Vijay said that he is watching more Telugu cinema these days as he is now understanding the language quite well.

"Whenever I hear from someone that a film is nice, I make it a point to watch it. I recently watched Nani's Court and loved the film. The narration and gripping courtroom scenes were nice," said Vijay Sethupathi.

Jersey fame Nani produced Court – State vs A Nobody on a budget of ₹10 crore, and the film made close to ₹50 crore at the box office. The courtroom drama is now streaming on Netflix and has caught the attention of many, with the latest admirer being Vijay Sethupathi. His appreciation is a big compliment for the team of Court, especially Nani and director Ram Jagadeesh.

Court – State vs A Nobody is based on the sensitive POCSO Act. Harsh Roshan and Sridevi played the main leads in this film, which also featured Pelli Choopulu fame Priyadarshi in a key role. The biggest asset of the film was Sivaji, who made a comeback with ETV Win's #90’s, the super hit family drama. He plays a negative role, and Vijay loved his performance in the film.

Coming back to Ace, the film is a romantic crime comedy directed by Arumuga Kumar. Rukmini Vasanth, the latest sensation in Kannada cinema, plays the female lead in this film produced by 7 CS Entertainment.
