The trailer of Ace, the upcoming Tamil film starring actor Vijay Sethupathi and Rukmini Vasanth in the lead roles, has been released by the makers on social media on Sunday. The film is slated for a theatrical release on May 23.

Actor Vijay Sethupathi who was last seen in Viduthalai: Part 2 directed by Vetrimaaran, is gearing up for the release of Ace. The film is going to hit theatres on May 23, and ahead of this, the makers released the trailer of the film.

The trailer begins with the hero introduction, played by Vijay Sethupathi who has erased all his identities and have come to Malaysia. He goes by the name Bold Kannan as we see him getting acquainted with Yogi Babu. In the meanwhile, we see the hero meeting Rukmini Vasanth. The tonality of the trailer shifts, as we see something being planned, similar to heist. We see some shots of gambling, stunt sequences, and enjoyment. The trailer concludes with Vijay Sethupathi holding a sketch of someone who Yogi Babu says looks like Sivakarthikeyan.

The film is directed by Aarumugakumar who has previously worked with the Super Deluxe actor in Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren. Apart from Vijay Sethupathi, the film will feature Kannada actor Rukmini Vasanth as the female lead, marking her foray into Tamil cinema.

Ace OTT release:

Ace’s post-theatrical streaming rights of the film have been bagged by Prime Video. The film will begin streaming on the platform once the film completes the theatrical run.

Apart from Vijay Sethupathi and Rukmini Vasanth, the film also stars Yogi Babu, Divya Pillai, Babloo Prithveeraj, BS Avinash, Muthu Kumar, Raj Kumar, Denes Kumar, and others. Ace is produced by 7Cs Entertainment, who also made Laabam with Vijay Sethupathi-starrer. Justin Prabhakaran has scored the music for Ace, with Karan B Rawat as cinematographer. Fenny Oliver is the editor.
