Acharya: Here's when the trailer of the Chiranjeevi-Ram Charan starrer will be out

Ever since the film Acharya, starring the father-son duo, Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan, has been announced, fans can't wait to get their hands on an update. The release of film posters and first look posters have only taken the excitement of the audiences several notches higher. But soon, they'll get a glimpse of the film that is in store for us. 

The makers of Acharya have announced the release date of the trailer. The RRR actor Ram Charan, who plays a cameo role in the movie and serves as a producer of the drama, has tweeted the release date of the film. Sharing the poster, he wrote: "Witness the Mighty #AcharyaTrailer on 12th April ! #AcharyaOnApr29."

The film directed by Koratala Siva will hit the screens on April 29. Apart from Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan, the film also features Pooja Hegde and Kajal Aggarwal. While Kajal plays the first female lead, Pooja will be seen in an important role as a Brahmin girl named Nilambari. Chiranjeevi reportedly plays the role of a middle-aged Naxalite, who turns into a social reformer and leads the Endowments Department over the theft and embezzlement of temple cash. The story is set in a temple town named Dharmasthali.  

The music is by Manu Sharma and the cinematography is by S Tirru. The film has art direction by Suresh Selvarajan. It is produced by Ram Charan and Niranjan Reddy.

Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi has several projects in the pipeline. He has Godfather, Bholaa Shankar, and other films. Bollywood actor Salman Khan will also make an appearance in his upcoming film, Godfather, which is the official remake of the Malayalam movie, Lucifer.
