The shoot for Arun Vijay's upcoming outing Achcham Enbadhu Illayae has been wrapped up. The film, which stars Amy Jackson and Nimisha Sajayan as the leading ladies, marks Arun's maiden collaboration with director Vijay. Arun Vijay dropped a series of pictures from the film's set and said that he was really lucky to have worked with the entire team. The actor wrote on his social media handle, "It's a wrap!! #AchchamEnbadhuIllayae Was a wonderful journey working with #DirectorVijay and his talented team. Thanks to @iamAmyJackson, #nimishasajayan, @silvastunt and all the others who worked hard to bring the director's huge vision to a grand reality! Can't wait!! (sic)."
The film marks the comeback of British actress Amy Jackson to Tamil cinema. Amy was last seen on screen in Shankar's 2.0, in which she was featured along with Superstar Rajinikanth. The actress played the robot Nila in the film. Interestingly, it was director Vijay, who had introduced the actress to Tamil cinema, with the film Madrasapattinam (2010). The film was set in the pre-independence era and revolved around a love story between an Indian and a British woman. Arya played the leading lady in the film.
While Achcham Enbathu Illayae marks Amy's comeback, the film marks The Great Indian Kitchen fame actress Nimisha Sajayan's debut in Tamil. GV Prakash has scored the music for the film, while Gavemic U Ary and Sandeep K Vijay are jointly handling the cinematography. The action choreography is handled by Stunt Silva.
Arun Vijay has a number of films in his kitty, which includes Borrder and Agni Siragugal. While Borrder was slated to hit screens on February 24, now the makers have come up with an announcement that the film's release will be pushed to March as the current circumstances are not favourable for the release across the globe. The actor is also said to have replaced Suriya in Bala's Vanangaan, after Suriya walked out of the film.-
