Rajinikanth’s upcoming action-drama Annaatthe is one of the most anticipated Tamil movies of the year. The movie will see the superstar join hands with the director Siva for the first time. The latest news now is that the shooting of all action scenes from the movie is completed.
The shooting of the movie has almost been finished, with only minor portions left to be shot. According to reports, the cast has begun dubbing for the film. Stunt choreographer Dhilip Subbarayan took to his social networking page to reveal that the shooting of the stunt sequences in the movie has been wrapped.
Annaatthe has been making a big noise since its announcement. As Rajinikanth stars in the movie, directed by Siva who is known for his action movies, Annaatthe has become a highly anticipated film among fans.
The movie is co-written and directed by Siva known for helming Veeram, Vedalam, Vivegam and Vishwasam, all starring Ajith Kumar. Bankrolled by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures, Annaatthe has an ensemble cast that also includes Meena, Khushbu, Nayantara, Keerthy Suresh, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Bala and Soori.
Annaatthe has music composed by D. Imman, who has previously collaborated with the director in his last movie Vishwasam. Cinematography for the action drama is by Vetri, a regular collaborator with the director.
The movie is set to hit theatres as a Diwali release on November 4, 2021.
