Actor Abhay Simha was recently in the news for his OTT release, Crrush, directed by Ravi Babu, where he had played one of the six major characters in the film. The coming-of-age tale revolving around the sexual awakening of three male graduates, directly released on ZEE5 and received a moderate response from critics and audiences. However, the young actor is keen to leave an impression on viewers with his performances in the future. He'll next be seen in Commitment, directed by Lakshmikanth Chenna (who made his OTT debut with a YuppTV show Hey Krishna).

"I came to know that Ravi Babu was auditioning young actors for Crrush and wanted to give a shot at it. I got selected and played a crucial role in the film. I consider myself lucky to have had the opportunity to work with a filmmaker like Ravi Babu for my very first project. He has complete control over the craft and wraps the shoot quickly. There was no inhibition on my part working on the explicit sequences in the film because my job is to act in any kind of role I'm given," Abhay says. Crrush also starred Krishna Burugula, Charan Sai, Ankita Manoj, Parree Pande and Sri Sudha in pivotal roles.

Commitment is an anthology of sorts where Abhay Krishna's role has a good balance of action and emotional sequences. The film, also featuring Tejaswi Madiwada in a prominent role, is due for a release soon and Abhay Simha's other project Saleem Akbar Anarkali will go on floors this August. The filming of two other projects featuring the actor will also commence shortly. Abhay Simha is the son of actor Satish, who played the lead role in Nelluri Peddareddy.
