It looks like veteran actor-director-producer T Rajendhar is all set to head to Singapore for the advanced treatment for his medical condition. We hear that the actor is likely to fly out of the country soon and that his son Silambarasan TR will be accompanying him on the journey. It looks like TR will be in Singapore for at least a month until his recovery. T Rajendhar has been hospitalized at a private hospital in Chennai for the last few weeks after he developed chest pain. 

The news about T Rajendhar's hospitalisation was kept under wraps by the family, but it got leaked on social media. T Rajendhar's son Silambarasan TR then took to his social media handle to clarify about his father's health condition and said that he needs to be taken abroad for further treatment as bleeding was detected in his stomach.

According to the statement, T Rajendhar had complained of chest pain recently and was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Chennai. Doctors had then detected bleeding in his stomach and had advised the family to undergo advanced treament. Keeping his health condition in mind, the family had planned to take TR abroad for the advanced treament. The statement also said that TR was conscious and feeling well. STR stated that he was confident that his father's health would improve and thanked everyone for their prayers and wishes for his speedy recovery.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin had met the veteran actor in the hospital in Chennai and had enquired about his health condition. Pictures of the meeting did the rounds on the internet. Meanwhile, social media is flooded with prayers for T Rajendhar from his fans, film fraternity and friends. Silambarasan will be putting the shoot of his upcoming film Pathu Thala on hold to accompany his father on the journey. The film is a remake of the Kannada neo noir crime drama Mufti.
