The Ghazi actor will play the role of an investigator with sharp humour in the web show, which will be streamed on Ullu App

Actor Rahul Singh is all set to essay the role of an investigator in an upcoming web series temporarily titled A Crime To Remember. The show is heavily inspired by real-life high-profile murder cases. The plot is about the increasing number of murder cases, questioning if the murderers are falsely accused or if they are the real culprits. The production of the series is currently taking place in Lucknow.
Rahul, while speaking to The Hans India, said that he plays the role of an investigator who solves a case with 'more layers than an onion'. The filming of the series is currently happening in diverse locations around Lucknow, all the while also tasting its lovely cuisine, he added. He is very excited and cannot wait to excite the viewers too.
He further mentioned that even though he is playing the role of a serious cop, the role is sprinkled with sharp humour. "The makers are very receptive to creative collaboration. Hence I am also an additional dialogue writer on this show. A lot of the amusing one-liners are mine!" he further said.
When further quizzed about his favourite fictional detective characters, the actor said that he read a lot about Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes in his teens and admired watching Karamchand on Doordarshan. The actor has earlier worked on films like Ghazi and Naye Shaadi Ke Siyape.
The upcoming series of crime thrillers, which is tentatively named A Crime To Remember, will stream on Ullu App.
