Actor Rajdeep Gupta’s mother passes away

He is a known face on Bengali television and web series. Rajdeep Gupta plays the protagonist in the serial Panchami. He suffered a setback in his personal life recently. He lost his mother. His mother, 56, was fighting cancer for a long time. Finally, the struggle ended. Rajdeep shared his picture with his mother on Sunday.

Rajdeep told Anandabazar online that his mother suffered from breast cancer. She had surgery and recovered, but relapsed in February 2022. Then a long struggle of one year took place. Rajdeep took leave for a few days from the serial. But he wants to come back to work soon. He said the house feels empty without her mother.  

Rajdeep said, “I did not take much work in the last year due to my mother's sickness. But I will return to work. I do not like staying in the house. There are my relatives. But they remind me of my mother. I want to immerse myself in my work.”
