Actress Nayana Sai is the latest to join AK61

Actress Nayana is the latest to be on board of Ajith's upcoming film. The shoot for the film, which is tentatively referred to as AK61 and is directed by H Vinoth, is going on in full swing in Hyderabad. The actress, who shared a picture of herself with Ajith on her social media handle, called it a dream come true moment. She wrote, "Fan girl moment ❣️❣️ I have grown up watching Ajith sir on screen and always wished to work with him someday. Will always cherish this dream come true moment . @ajith_0fficial #ajithkumar #ajithfansclub #overwhelmed #thrilled #fangirlmoment (sic)."

AK61 is produced by Boney Kapoor and the film has Manju Warrier playing the leading lady. Ajith is said to be playing a dual role in the film, which is billed as a heist thriller, on the lines of Venkat Prabhu's Mankatha. Ajith was seen in dual characters in films like Vaali and Villain and in Citizen, he donned multiple get-ups. The actor has shed weight for his role and the new trimmed look of Ajith has got the industry talking about the new avatar. The rest of the star cast also includes Samuthirakani, Veera and John Kokken. 

As massive set has been erected for the film in Hyderabad including that of a bank, where the heist is set to be filmed. Nirav Shah, who had earlier cranked the camera for Ajith and H Vinoth's Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai, will handle the cinematography this time around as well Ghibran will score the music. Boney Kapoor had earlier stated in an interview that the film has been planned as a Diwali release.

This is the third time that Boney Kapoor, Ajith and H Vinoth are teaming up for a film. They had earlier worked together in Nerkonda Paarvai (remake of Pink) and the action entertainer Valimai.
