Actress Puja Banerjee meets with an accident, remains unharmed

Actress Puja Banerjee and her family were saved marginally from what could have been a disastrous accident. She went to the kitchen like any other day. But as soon as she turned the gas cylinder knob, there was a splash of fire.

The incident took place on Tuesday night. It got under control after some time. Puja took to her Instagram story and wrote that she was saved marginally. She thanked God for saving her and her family. There was some kind of leakage in the pipe. 

Puja is in Kolkata. How is she doing? In an interview with Anandabazar Online, Puja said, “I did not understand that the gas pipe had a leakage. The mishap happened when I lit the oven. There was a lot of electrical equipment beside the gas. A severe accident could have happened.”

Puja has been busy with the promotion of her upcoming web series, Cabaret, in which she plays Elina. The show will start streaming on Addatimes on January 26. Directed by Utsav Mukherjee, the show also features Satyam Bhattacharya.  

Puja is a known face in the television industry of Mumbai. But she has worked in Bengali films also. She worked in films like Loveria and Hoichoi Unlimited. She also worked in the two series of Hoichoi’s web series, Paap.
