It's not easy to succeed in the entertainment sector without having a godfather, yet Adarsh Gourav seems to do so simply. The actor, who shot to fame with Ramin Bahrani's The White Tiger, which earned him a BAFTA nomination and led to a host of international projects, claims he can't balance multiple films at once, unlike his contemporaries.

Gourav appears alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday in Arjun Varain Singh's directorial debut, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, in which he plays a callisthenics trainer. While he enjoys spending time with his new co-stars, he says that getting to know them has been something of a surprise. The actor told Mid Day that they are both excellent actors, but they are also wonderful people. It's been wonderful getting to know them in person. They've been shooting nonstop for other projects, he adds, adding that he can't get behind the idea of flipping between various personalities, which Panday and Chaturvedi appear to have mastered.

Gourav continued by saying that it's not easy to move from one project to the next, empty your headspace, switch, and adapt to what the directors advise. It takes a long time, but they seem to do it effortlessly. It has turned into a learning experience for him. As actors, Siddhant and Ananya are both extremely attentive and responsive. He also said that whatever is offered to them, they will play with it, and they are quite susceptible as individuals.

Apart from making a mark in movies, Gourav also impressed everyone with his performance in Amazon Prime Video's Hostel Daze. Extrapolations, a new American anthology drama series created by Scott Z. Burns for Apple TV+, also features the actor. An anthology series that illustrates the effects of climate change on the earth through interconnected stories from many perspectives.

The actor is also a part of Guns & Gulaabs, created by Raj and DK for Netflix. The series also features Rajkummar Rao and Dulquer Salmaan in the lead roles.
