Addateegala OTT release date: When and where to watch Arjun Kalyan, Vasanthi Krishnan’s thriller

Arjun Kalyan, who had a brief stint on Bigg Boss Telugu, made a mark in a variety of roles as a lead actor and character artiste over the years in films like Pellikuturu Party, Varudu Kaavalenu, Playback, Premam to name a few. He was also part of a web show titled Naari Naaru Naduma Murari for aha. His next release is Addateegala, a road thriller that’s landing directly on OTT this weekend.

Telugu OTT platform aha has acquired the rights of the film and premiered it today. Vasanthi Krishnan, popular with netizens for her Youtube videos and shows, is the female lead. Addateegala is written and directed by G Rama Raju. Sri Srunkhala Devi Films has bankrolled the project which wrapped its shoot quite a while ago and took time to finalise its release plans.

The trailer starts with a young couple heading to a forest for a road trip. There are several mystery men trying to trace their whereabouts during the trip without the knowledge of the protagonists. A few people are found murdered but these eerie incidents don’t catch the eye of the characters initially. However, they soon realise they’re being tracked and need to protect themselves at any cost. Who’s chasing them? What could’ve been the reason?

The technical aspects of Addateegala are among its major highlights. The spooky sound design, intense background score and the surreal cinematography contribute to its raw appeal. The glimpse suggests that the film revolves around limited characters and has a gripping screenplay. Will the strategy of the producers to release it directly on OTT pay off and help them woo audiences?
