Prime Video has unveiled the trailer for its first Hindi horror series Adhura, featuring Rasika Dugal and Ishwak Singh. Produced by Nikkhil Advani's Emmay Entertainment, the series is directed by Gauravv K Chawla and Ananya Banerjee, with Banerjee also serving as the writer. The cast of Adhura includes Rasika Dugal, Ishwak Singh, Shrenik Arora, Poojan Chhabra, Zoa Morani, Sahil Salathia, Aru Krishansh Verma, Rijul Ray and Rahul Dev in significant roles.

The trailer sets the stage for a chilling story set in a prestigious boarding school in Ooty, spanning two timelines – 2022 and 2007. Secrets, disappearances, and eerie events connect Adhiraj (Ishwak Singh), an alumnus burdened by guilt, and Vedant (Shrenik Arora), a troubled student.

This blurs the boundaries between the past and present. As a shocking truth threatens to unravel, the batch of 2007 must confront their inner demons, forever altering the core of the school and the lives of those involved.

Ishwak Singh shared his intense experience playing the character Adhiraj. He stated that Adhura combines supernatural elements with disrubia, offering a poignant storytelling experience.

Rasika Dugal, who plays Supriya, a student counselor with a complex journey, expressed excitement about exploring the delicate balance between human compassion and unknown forces lurking within. She believes audiences will resonate with the humanness of the story while enjoying its spooky aspects.

Starting from July 7, Prime members in India and over 240 countries and territories worldwide will be able to stream Adhura.
