Adipurush anthem Jai Shri Ram: Prabhas and Kriti Sanon's track celebrates the victory of good over evil

After multiple controversies and backlashes, Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush has finally locked its release date. Meanwhile, after a lot of promo videos, makers have dropped the official anthem of the film titled Jai Shri Ram. Crooned by several including Gwen Dias, Shazneen Arethna, Crystal Sequeira and Marianne D’Cruz Aiman, the latest track is composed and penned by Ajay - Atul and Manoj Muntashir Shukla respectively.

The rhythmic and soulful devotional song showcases multiple sequences from the film that possesses important events from the Hindu mythology tale. The track begins with Prabhas' Lord Ram with his people gearing up to fight against the Ravana. Moving on, Kriti' Seeta can be seen sitting and just waiting for his husband to come to rescue her from Ravana's Ashok Vatika. 

Moving on, the song also gives a glimpse of one of the iconic events of Ramayana when Lord Hanuman flies with a huge mountain packed with Sanjeevni trees that saves Lakshman's life.

Makers dropped the latest anthem with a special caption on YouTube that reads, "#Adipurush #JaiShriRam #JaiBajrangBali #Adipurush #JaiShriRam #JaiBajrangBali #hanumanjanmotsav ADIPURUSH CELEBRATING VICTORY OF GOOD OVER EVIL (sic)."

Prabhas announced the release of the latest track on his official Instagram handle with a special quote in the caption in multiple languages. The Hindi part of the post reads, "मंत्रो की शक्ति का सार भक्तों की भक्ति का सार श्री राम का नाम है अपरंपार। #JaiShriRam - Full Song Out Now! (Sic)."

Written and directed by Om Raut, the Hindu mythological film also stars Saif Ali Khan as Ravana, Sunny Singh and Devdatta Nage in pivotal roles along with Vatsal Sheth, Sonal Chauhan and Trupti Toradmal in key roles.

Adipurush is all set to have a theatrical release on June 16, 2023.
