Last week saw the release of the eagerly anticipated mythical drama Adipurush, but many were unimpressed. The film has also received a lot of internet trolling, with some people even trending a call to have it banned in India. The makers revealed that they will be removing key dialogues that caused outrage in several regions of India.

Adipurush's producers are reportedly working on a redubbed version of the film with fresh dialogue that will be released in the next three days. Following criticism of the dialogues, Adipurush is apparently getting re-dubbed.

According to a report by Times of India, the reworking has already started with the concerned actors in the studio for their respective parts. The report said that the movie's rewrite was finished, and a sizable portion of the rework was finished yesterday.

The modified version of Adipurush is apparently set to hit theatres in the next three days, suggesting that the makers are eager to right their faults. However, there has been no formal confirmation of this.

Earlier, the film's director Om Raut and dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir Shukla spoke out when it was criticised for demeaning the epic Ramayan. Shukla tweeted, “I can give countless arguments in favour of my dialogues, but this will not reduce your pain. Me and the producer-director of the film have decided that some of the dialogues which are hurting you, we’ll revise them, and they’ll be added to the film this week. May Shri Ram bless you all!”

T Series also released a statement, “Team Adipurush in respect of Public Opinion, Revamps Dialogues for a Unifying Film Experience valuing the input of the public and the audience. The dialogues are being modified in consultation & advice of CBFC.”

Prabhas plays Raghava in the epic Ramayana-inspired movie, which also stars Kriti Sanon as Janaki and Saif Ali Khan as Ravana. The film also features Sunny Singh and Devdatta Nage as Lakshman and Hanuman, respectively, and has a stated budget of Rs 500 crore.
