Aditi Rao Hydari has revealed her fiancé Siddharth’s reaction to watching her web series Heeramandi. The show, helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is out on Netflix and is among the most debated. Siddharth, Aditi reveals, was in tears and could not use words after watching the show on OTT.

“He loved Heeramandi. He called me. He couldn’t speak because he was so overwhelmed. His eyes were swollen. He just said I have to come and meet Sanjay sir as soon as I can. After he was actually able to string a sentence, he said, “Now there would be two freedom fighters within our family – Karan Singhania (Siddharth’s Rang De Basant character) and Bibbojaan (Aditi in Heeramandi),” Aditi laughed as she recalled the same with Puja Talwar.

On their equation, Aditi said that they both enjoy and love what they do. She explained that the two do not weigh heavily on themselves or each other, since there’s always excitement with them together. The actress then went on to explain their different acting methods. While Siddharth is in the creation process, she is more of an actress who surrenders to the process. Aditi then went on to reveal that the couple doesn’t chat about work as much as what moved them during the day.

Aditi and Siddharth got engaged in a temple. They wanted to keep it private but owing to the news about them being married secretly, the two decided to spill the tea and post photos with rings on their individual Instagram handles. Aditi even gave Heeramandi promotions a miss owing to the rumours. She eventually promoted the show with Siddharth by her side too.
The couple reportedly fell in love which shooting for their 2021 release, Maha Samundram. They managed to keep their relationship low-profile for a while and then dropped hints about them dating.
On the work front, Siddharth will next be seen in Shankar’s Indian 2 starring Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal and Rakul Preet Singh. Meanwhile, Aditi has Gandhi Talks and Lioness next.
