After being adapted in over 50 countries, the Turkish series 1001 Nights (Binbir Gece) is being made in Hindi. Titled Katha Ankahee, the show will star Aditi Sharma and Adnan Khan as the main leads. It will be aired on Sony TV.

Loosely based on the Arabian Nights, the makers hope that the show will resonate deeply with audiences, just as the original version managed to do. The tagline of the Hindi remake is, ‘Inki kahaani mein hai kasak nafrat ki, ya kashish pyaar ki? Jaaniye’.

Both Sony TV and the Kaleerein actress took to their social media handles to unveil the first glimpse of the much-anticipated remake. The posts have been received well, with fans commenting that the leading pair looks good together and that the premise of the plot is promising.

Aditi Sharma had a promising start to her career, working with stars like Ranveer Singh (Ladies vs Ricky Bahl) and Shahid Kapoor (  ). She is primarily a Hindi television actress, having risen to fame with her roles in TV shows like Gangaa and Colors TV's Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka. She is now all set to return to the small screen with Katha Ankahee.

AdnanKhan was last seen in Zee World’s series Zara’s Nikah, in which he starred as Kabeer Ahmed. He rose to fame on the small screen for his beloved portrayal as Mawlawi Kabeer Ahmed in Zee TV's drama series, Ishq Subhan Allah.

Katha Ankahee is being produced by Sony Entertainment Television and is scheduled to premiere soon on Sony TV.
