Bollywood actor Aditya Roy Kapur is grabbing headlines these days for various reasons. Not only is he in the news for being in a relationship with Bollywood star Ananya Panday, but he has also become a center of attraction after delivering a powerful performance in the web series, The Night Manager.

Recently, on July 22, Bollywood stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Anil Kapoor, Sobhita Dhulipala, and Tillotama Shome were papped on the set of The Kapil Sharma Show to promote their web series, The Night Manager 2.

On the chat show, Aditya Roy Kapur joked about his acting career and how someone close to him actually believed that he has been employed as The Night Manager as his acting career did not kick off.

In a short video shared by Sony TV, Aditya confessed that during the promotions of the show, “Some people didn’t even recognize me. I helped a couple of people check in to a hotel and also made their new cards. I also did it diligently, reaching the hotel two hours prior and learning how to do it.”

The 37-year-old actor even illustrated his encounter with his ex-teacher that left everyone in splits. “I met her, and she asked me about what I was doing. I told her that acting was not working out, so I needed a backup,” he shared, and then added after a pause, “Sadly, she believed me also.”

Aditya Roy Kapur made his acting debut in 2009 with the drama film London Dreams. He rose to fame after featuring in a titular role in Aashiqui 2 in 2013.
