The Family Man creators Raj and DK recently made headlines, not for season 4 but for their series Rakt Bramhand coming to a halt. The reason given was financial fraud. While the series is bankrolled by the talented duo, it is helmed by Tumbbad director Rahi Anil Barve. Now, after the brief halt, it appears that Rakt Bramhand: The Bloody Kingdom is back on track, or at least that’s what the buzz states.
"After a brief pause, the shoot for Raj & DK's Rakht Bramhand, helmed by Rahi Anil Barve, is all set to resume in July in Mumbai. The team is reassembling with renewed energy," a source told FilmiBeat. This birdie confirmed that the original idea for the movie is intact and the preparations for a smooth restart are underway.
Rakt Bramhand: The Bloody Kingdom is a series about the fight for kingdom and power. It features Fitoor actor Aditya Roy Kapur, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Ali Fazal and Wamiqa Gabbi in the lead roles. The show is likely to be out on Netflix later this year or in early 2026.
If you are already tired of watching Beyond The Clouds actor Ishaan Khatter flaunt his abs every opportunity he gets in the recently released series The Royals or got enough of the competitor show, Kull, and want more while waiting for Rakt Bramhand release, you can watch Taj: Divided By Blood, featuring Dharmendra, Naseeruddin Shah, Rahul Bose, Aditi Rao Hydari, Aashim Gulati and Taaha Shah in pivotal roles. In case you wish for something slightly more on the fun side with hints of royal war, then the K-Drama Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth, which marked BTS member Kim Taehyung (V)’s acting debut and featured Park Seo-jun along with Park Hyung-sik in the lead role, should be on your watchlist. All you need to stream these shows is an OTTplay Premium subscription. So, happy streaming!
