Adivi Sesh commences dubbing for the Hindi version of Major

2022 promises to be a big year for Adivi Sesh with two of his films, Hit 2 and Major, set for a release in multiple languages. The first of them to hit the theatres will of course be Major, the biopic of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, simultaneously shot in Telugu and Hindi. Major, also starring Sobhita Dhulipala and Saiee Manjrekar in the lead, is set to release (in Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam) on February 11, 2022. 

Adivi Sesh announced that he has begun dubbing for the Hindi version of Major. He is continuing the trend of regional actors dubbing for multiple languages of their films. Announcing the same, he had tweeted, “Starting 2022 in a #Major way! Commenced the Hindi dubbing for #MajorTheFilm TODAY. Let’s do this.” In a video accompanying the tweet, he is seen narrating an intense dialogue from the film in fluent Hindi.

The makers claim that the actor has reportedly performed 'unbelievable stunts' for the movie. The biopic tells the story of Sandeep Unnikrishnan including his childhood and teenage years besides a glorious stint in the army to the tragic events of the Mumbai attack where he had breathed his last. Major is mounted on grand canvas and the teaser of the film, released earlier this year, has made many audiences curious.

Prakash Raj, Revathi and Murli Sharma are the other prominent cast of the film produced by Mahesh Babu in collaboration with Sony Entertainment. Major marks the Hindi debut of Adivi Sesh. Sobhita and Prakash Raj had also collaborated with Adivi Sesh for his spy thriller Goodachari, which was also helmed by Major director Sashi Kiran Tikka.
