Adivi Sesh launches Memories, Sudhakar Komakula’s music video shot in San Francisco

Sudhakar Komakula, who turned a producer with the crime comedy Narayana and Co earlier this year, plans to sign off in 2023 in style with a new project. He’s starring in and producing a music video titled Memories, entirely shot in San Francisco, blended with 2D animation. An aspirant filmmaker Anvesh Bashyam has directed Memories, which was launched by Adivi Sesh today across multiple languages.

Sharing the video, Adivi Sesh, who was raised in San Francisco himself, discussing his special connection with the music video, wrote, “Happy to release #SudhakarKomakula’s #Memories Music Video shot in my city San Francisco. Real blends 2D Anime, It’s damn cool.” The song, composed by Arun Chandrashekaran, is now out in five languages - Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.

Rahul Sipligunj, Susa, Arjun Vijay, Vasuki Vaibhavi have crooned for the number across multiple languages. Purnachary, KB Shree Karthik, Bhuvanesh S, Arjun Vijay, Varadaraj Chikkaballapura and Ritesh G Rao are the lyricists. The voice over, written by Anvesh Bashyam, is rendered by Sudhakar Komakula with Arun Chandrashekaran singing the English segments in the number.

The music video opens with the lines..“San Francisco..the city holds a special place in my heart. It has never judged me and took the responsibility of altering my life. The car, that was to head to the garage, is now on the road.” Memories revolves around Varun, whose life takes a drastic turn with an animated character ‘Angel pilla’ (credited as Jessica).

Brian Durkee is the cinematographer for the video while Srikanth R Patnaik is the editor. The choreography for Memories was handled by Sudhakar Komakula himself. Nivriti Vibes and Sharad Gumaste are the co-producers and Vishnu Singh is the executive producer. Sudhakar also starred in another hit music video Lollipop alongside Ananya Sharma recently.
